I’m lucky enough to do a lot of meet and greets, and get to meet you guys and when I do, a lot of the time, I meet a lot of people who either write songs or want to write songs. And the number one question I get asked a lot is “How do you know what to write a song about? Like when do you know? When do you start?”. For me, I guess the answer is… I guess the easiest answer, the most simple answer is: Think about how many things you want to say to someone but you have been too scared to say it to them for fear of their reaction to what you will tell them. Over the course of the day we have hundreds if not thousands of things we wish we could say if we were brave enough, or if we didn’t have to see their reaction, or hear the response to us saying what we actually feel about someone, about a situation.
